Brisbane Inside Out Guide
7th November, 2010
Good ol’ Brissie has certainly gone through its fair share of change over the last decade or so. The trite “big country town” tag has long lost its relevance as the modern city we know and love today has well and truly grown into its own skin.
With so much on offer, local knowledge can be a valuable thing in a city like ours, so Brisbane Marketing decided to put all of this knowledge into a handy pocket-sized guide. Oblong had the pleasure of designing and putting this neat little Brisbane bible together, including the whimsical cover shot.
The ‘Brisbane Inside Out Guide’ was recently launched by Lord Mayor Campbell Newman at a public function in the Queen Street Mall, and from all reports it’s been very well received.
Inside the guide is an in-depth summary of Brisbane’s best precincts and surrounding regions. From the best places for breakfast to the most unique vintage shopping, it’s all there in the Brisbane Visitors Guide.
If you know a first-time visitor to Brisbane or feel the need to reconnect with your city, you can get your hands on the guide at the Visitor Information Centre in the Queen Street Mall. Be warned though, your weekends are about to get a whole lot busier!
