Black Sheep Coffee
The client required a name and mark which would differentiate them from the many Italian-themed coffee companies. A little research revealed that the target market, while being discerning coffee drinkers, did not take the whole process too seriously. As a result, our approach was a bit more playful.
By creating a logo which didn’t contain a black sheep we appealed to the wit of the clientele. As a support graphic, a sheep does appear, but without the stand-out-from-the-crowd inference which is often used.
