LaSpina Architects

In keeping with the client’s business ethic, the project was to be as environmentally aware as possible. This was achieved by making multi-purpose perforated pieces and using a hand-held embossing machine to stamp the identity onto each piece as it is used. For example, the letterhead can be folded to create its own envelope or split into three with compliments slips.

The only (soy based) ink used in the entire process was one colour on the business card. The result is a versatile range which minimises waste and was economical to produce as well.

Website

LaSpina Architects’ site reflects the practice’s split between residential and commercial clientele. It is designed to make information simple to understand and easy to access for people who may have never used an architect before, while making available the depthof information needed by commercial clients. The site carries through Alfred LaSpina’s preference for clean, uncluttered design but still showcases the practice’s innovative use of materials and ability to apply their sustainable approach in unexpected ways.
