Oblong + Sons sprang into being in 2004 as the result of a fortuitous meeting of a couple of right angles.
While it’s true that we have an acute interest in geometric shapes, our real passion is for design. We believe that design is at its most effective when it’s approached from an end user’s perspective. With this in mind, we get quite a kick out of the creative dynamic and translating this into communication that works for our clients.
We understand that design has quite a power to influence society and this carries with it a responsibility to be honest and thought provoking. In this process there’s not much room for ego but plenty of room for open minds, abstraction and fun. This is what makes it so easy to get out of bed every day.
